Refund Policy

Effective

Momentum comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. This page says exactly what that covers and what it does not, so there are no surprises on either side. If something here does not match what you were told, or what you read elsewhere on our website, tell us — we would rather fix our own copy than argue with you about it.

The 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are a new Momentum customer and you decide within 30 days of your first subscription charge that it is not for you, email hello@ariostech.ca and we will refund your subscription fee, less the signup credit you used and any usage charges billed to your account during that time. We do not add a processing charge on top of that deduction — we absorb the payment processor’s own fee.

You do not need a reason, and we will not put you through a retention gauntlet. We will ask what did not work, because we would like to know, and you are free not to answer.

Who is eligible

The guarantee applies to new customers, on their first Momentum subscription, within 30 days of the first charge on that subscription.

It is one refund per business. If you cancel under the guarantee and later sign up again, the second subscription is not covered. Related businesses, accounts under common ownership, and additional accounts opened by the same owner count as the same customer for this purpose.

It does not apply to an existing customer who upgrades or downgrades. Changing plans after your first 30 days does not restart the clock, even though the new plan is a new charge.

What the guarantee covers, and what it does not

Covered: the subscription fee for your first month on your first Momentum plan — minus what you actually used. Here is exactly how that works.

Your signup credit and any usage charges are a real cost to us the moment they are spent, whether or not you keep the account afterward. So your refund is the subscription fee you paid, minus two things: the dollar value of the signup credit you used, and any usage charges — telephony, text, picture message, email, AI, phone number rentals, A2P registration fees, and carrier surcharges — billed to your account during those 30 days. If you never touched your signup credit and generated no usage charges, you get the full subscription fee back. If you used $20 of your credit and ran up $15 in call charges, $35 comes off your refund. We are not going to hand you a free month of usage on the way out the door.

Not covered: advertising spend you have put through the platform. That money went to Meta or Google, not to us.

Not covered: charges after the first 30 days. Subscription payments from month two onward are not refundable, and we do not prorate a partial month — see the Cancellation Policy for what happens instead.

White-Glove Setup

White-Glove Setup ($997 CAD, one-time) is not refundable, whether you cancel before, during, or after the build. It is our team’s work, not software, and we price and staff it as a flat one-time fee for that reason.

Cancelling your subscription inside the 30-day window does not refund a purchased White-Glove Setup. The subscription fee is refunded under the terms above; the setup fee is not.

The fair-use condition

The guarantee exists so you can try Momentum on your own business without risking a month’s fee. It does not exist to fund a one-time campaign.

So there is one bright line. If your account sends more than 2,500 outbound messages — text messages and emails combined, across every campaign, broadcast, and workflow — within the first 30 days, the subscription fee is no longer refundable. Everything else on this page still applies, and you can still cancel any time under the Cancellation Policy. You just cannot run a database reactivation blast through the platform and then ask for the month back.

2,500 messages is far more than an honest evaluation needs and far less than a reactivation campaign uses. If you are genuinely testing at volume and think this line catches you unfairly, email us before you send and we will look at it.

We may also decline a refund where we find fraud, chargeback abuse, a breach of the Terms of Use, or a pattern of signing up and refunding across accounts. We will tell you which of those we are relying on, and why.

How to request a refund

Email hello@ariostech.ca from the address on your account, with "Refund request" in the subject line. Include your business name and your Momentum account name. That is the whole process — there is no form to chase.

We will confirm receipt within 1–2 business days and tell you the exact amount, after deducting any signup credit you used and any usage charges billed to your account. Approved refunds go back to the card or payment method you originally paid with, and land within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. You will get an email when we have sent it.

A refund cancels the subscription. Your account and its data then follow the timeline in the Cancellation Policy, so export anything you want to keep.

After the first 30 days

Subscription payments after the first 30 days are not refundable, and we do not issue credits or prorated refunds for a partly used month. What you get instead is the rest of the month you paid for: cancel whenever you like, and your account stays fully live until the end of that billing cycle. See the Cancellation Policy.

Chargebacks

If you think a charge is wrong, email us before you call your bank. We will look at it and fix it if we got it wrong. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first triggers an account suspension while the dispute runs, and the bank’s process is slower than ours.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version that applies to you is the one published on the day you subscribed, unless a later version is more favourable to you. Significant changes will be emailed to the address on your account.
